COLAP Peer Volunteers are trained ambassadors committed to assisting the legal community and positively impacting the legal profession.
COLAP Peer Volunteers are members of the legal community who provide confidential peer support to legal professionals who have been paired through COLAP’s consultation process. Peer Volunteers support our legal community by sharing their lived experiences recovering from and adapting to challenging situations involving behavioral health and well-being issues. Support takes place at informal meeting settings such as a coffee shop, over breakfast or lunch, virtually, on the phone, attending a support group meeting together, etc. COLAP volunteers uphold the confidentiality requirements in Rule 254.
